Thu., Feb. 13, 6:30 p.m. – Lancaster Farm Sanctuary. Lancaster Farm Sanctuary founders, Sarah Salluzzo and Jonina Turzi, will be sharing about the sanctuary and why they do this life saving work of rescuing abused and neglected farm animals. The talk will address the history of the sanctuary as well as some stories about its residents. The talk will also touch upon the health and environmental benefits of veganism as well as the ethical implications. There will be plenty of time for questions and answers particularly for those who are new to the idea of eating a more plant based diet.
