Luna’s Story:

Luna’s liberation story is nothing short of a miracle. She was found by animal activists at a live auction where she was marked to be killed because she could not stand up let alone walk. She was lying in a filthy dark corner next to her recently deceased newborn babies. Against all odds, a worker at the auction agreed to let the activists carry her out of the building, and when she arrived at the sanctuary, we thought there was absolutely no way she was going to survive as she could barely lift her head. This older sheep then fought to get her life back. She slowly regained the strength she needed to hold her head up and eat, and with physical therapy, body-weight assisted gait training, lots of vet care, and love, she can now walk and even run and enjoys her days with her best friend, Zack.
